Brodit active mount.

Just recieved a Brodit active hardwire mount from Handnav.

1.Question is what size fuse should be used when hard wiring the mount?

2.Whats everyone preferred option, permanately live or wired into the
ignition?

I have the same mount for my 2210. I used a 5A fuse and have wired into the accessory socket feed which is also fuse protected and igntion controlled.

Unless you have a need to provide a constant powered feed it is always best practice to wire through an igntion controlled supply
