Hi
The first time I used TomTom to get to number 71 London Road it took me to number 175!! about 1/2 mile wrong.
Is there any way to tell TomTom to save the correct location?
Or can I edit the coordinates.
Thanks
Mike |

Hi Mike,
If that address is one that you regularly visit, then you can add it to either your “favourites” or a custom POI (Point of Interest) file. I’d recommend using a custom POI file because if TomTom were to crash then you might lose the Favourites list. You can call the POI file “Friends and Family”, “Business”, or anything else that is relevant to you and the type of address it is.

If you backup your "***settings.cfg" files from your TomTom Navigator settings folder, these will save your favourties and other settings. |

You've already had some great suggestions. My choice would be POI files too - they're much easier to manage in my opinion.
I just wanted to add a comment that it's not possible to edit the map data yourself - for an explanation of some of the reasons, see this thread. I know that thread is ostensibly about Navman, but the issues are just the same for TomTom Navigator.
