Palm T2 Bluetooth not talking with the Fortuna

as above the T2 Bluetooth is on and has the clip on sign showing but not conecting with the fortuna.

Have you paired them and added the fortuna as a trusted device.
Also make sure your palm is set to connectable and discoverable for the first connection. Then when the palm finds the fortuna then connect and add the device as a trusted devices. Noting the Pass code for the Fortuna is 0000. When you connect and set the GPS receiver in Mapsonic it isn't that obvious. Goto File -> GPS parameters -> port and select bluetooth.

If this doesn't work I had a problem where I couldn't reconnect once I reset the Fortuna by removing the battery and restarting the device.

I guess if that doesn't work than may be the Fortuna isn't quite right. The bluetooth software stack on the Palm is quite good and I haven't ever had a problem with it.
