Hi, i have a TomTom One XL and have created a couple of sounds to use for proximity warnings for when im approaching a saftery/speed camera etc. I have saved them as 22500mhz, Mono OGG files and renmaed exactly as my POI files for Speed Cameras and Red Light Cameras etc.

..... however it isnt working... The audio warning does not happen when im approaching the cameras......

Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Have you gone through the "warn when near" set-up AGAIN for every camera type? You have to do this and if you have named the .oggs correctly, the set-up will skip the screen where it asks you to choose a sound. Is that happening?

A couple of other things to check
I presume 22050mhz is a typo! (kHz would be better! Laughing )

You *can* see your file extensions in Explorer, can't you? (Tools /Folder options / View tab - UNtick "hide extensions for known file types"
You need to see them to know you haven't named your files abcdefg.ogg.ogg by mistake.

Why not try downloading and installing one of the ones from HERE to test it. They are already correctly named to match the various speedcam download options.

Final thought... You aren't trying to get this to work with the TomTom-supplied speed cam database are you? It won't... They have a fixed bleep that you can't change.
