Hi, I have the most recent version of TomTom Installed on my Nokia N95 mobile phone.

In any case while I have found it very good, I have not found many voices that I really like - including the commercial ones.

What I would really like is a set of voices that talks to me in a way that I can empathise with - some good old regional British voices.

Predominantly I am interested in possibly a Glaswegian accent, or thick Leeds type accent complete with colloquialisms (and hopefully some gratuitous swearing too if possible) - but really, any regional accents in general interest me (Liverpool, Brummy, Manx, or anything really).

As I said, I don't mind the posh female accents too much, but really I would prefer it if my navigation aid could speak to me in a language (and an accent) that I can in some way identify with.

Besides which, it would just be outright funny to have something like this installed in my GPS.

Can anyone possibly make any suggestions?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum, Give the Liz voice a try from Rays site Here - it is better than the supplied voices IMHO - clear and easy to understand, no swearing, but to be honest foul laungauge can become very tiresome, so you would soon get fed up with it.
You can also get matching speed camera warning voice files if you want them, Liz is a DJ on Radio Aire (Leeds) so traditional voice yes - although I wouldn't go as far as to say its a thick Leeds accent - Mike
