Medion 210 software upgraded from ME to PE

I have upgraded my Medion 210 from ME software version to the PE version why because it has a much better interface which comes with the exspensive version Medion satnav. It is like upgrading from windows 98 to windows xp. Also it has maps of all of europe with all pois with verbal warnings and you dont need to run poi warner seperately it is intergrated. Result is i now have the cheapest satnav on the market running as good as the exspensive ones but at half the price

Ok there is a DVD with the upgrade on it availiable, plus all the europe maps one complete map (all of europe 2 gig card required) which is 1.5 gig. And europe maps in sections A.B.C for those that only have a 1 gig card, Medion charges £99 for this, which is ridiculoise! as i only paid £69 for the unit. A friend of mine has the Medion 450 with the original cd's. So i though i would try it on my Medion 210 and it works great!

To install the upgrade you need to make a folder on your sd card called MapRegions and copy the maps you want to that folder. Then go to your MY Flash Disk on the medion. rename the MapRegions folder there to xMapRegions. now run and install the upgrade to anywhere you like. it will make a folder called navagation,Copy the contents of this folder Not the folder and paste it in to the folder called Navagation on your flash disk
