F20 Map updates?

Hi there,

I have a Navman F20 satnav system. I have recently purchased the connectivity Kit and via this have updated the system with the latest speed camera locations, i have also updated the software on the system too.

The problem I'm having is where i live, if i put my street name in the search it doesn't reconise it? The estate i live in was built about 7 years ago, which is new, but not that new!!

I have noticed from the Navman store and can buy a Mapcard to slot into the side of my F20, but i didn't wanna buy this if it has the same information thats already built into my system.

Is there any other way i can update my F20?

What maps have you got ?
Are they the version

Hopw long an estate has been there almost in not relevant !

I used to live in a place called "ardwyn" in wellington somerset.
The estate was built in 1938,and does not appear on the maps on my N20.The estate has 31 houses.

In fact if you put in the postcode of ta218bw.........it give a street opposite.Close, but not good enough.

The maps on my N20 show places that were built 2 years ago.

Not sure what that proves !

Anyway...............If you can, return teh F20 and the kit and get a N20.

Great for £150.And you get full euro mapping as well ( I realise that this bit doesn't help---sorry)

Yeah if i put in my postcode it gives the street around the corner !!

The only maps i have is the one built into the system.

I notice on my mates TomTom my street exists so at least i know i'm not in some sort of time zone that doesn't exist 8O
