Hi,
I have lust bought a Haicom HI-203E and a Tomtom car kit to use with my Compaq 3850 only to find that the cables and plugs don’t match up. Has anyone connect a Haicom HI-203E to the Tomtom car kit? Can anyone tell my which wires I need to connect to which and is the power output from the car kit OK for my Haicom HI-203E?

Thanks

Well, as no one has come up with a solution for this I have returned the TT car kit and purchased a Brodit mount instead. This looks to be a much better solution so I will go ahead and make it a permanent installation and keep my fingers crossed.
As an aside I ordered the mount from HandNav and it was delivered promptly despite the bad road conditions we have had these past few days. Perhaps the problems with HandNav reported in other forums really are down to Brodit or rather the problem of trying to supply a large number of vehicle specific brackets to a diverse market.

As far as I know, the only GPS Receivers you can connect are the Leadtek ones which TomTom re-badge as their own.
