SD Card full?

I have an iPaq 3870, PPC2002, SD card is a 128MB. I attempted to install TomTom V3 GB, this requires 101mb free space.
As far as I can tell by using explorer, the SD card was empty, but it wouldn't install the maps. Claiming there was only 20 mb free space. It now displays the TomTom files plus a few other folders in the Mobile \device \Storage card. Any ideas?

Thinks I've got it sorted.

Via the TomTom Forum, I was pointed at a piece of software that enables you to defrag, format, etc your storage card with it.
