Help Please

I have a tomtom one original and it is running v6.15 could anyone please let me know if I can put on the latest maps without upgrading to 6.52 or whichever is the latest version. At present I have 660.1219 maps but would like to try 675.??? maps.I hope this is clear and thank-you in anticipation.

My understanding is that in most cases it's not worth the upgrade, unless you want the new Extended Congestion Charge Zone for London.
