Packard Bell GPS400 Antenna Problem

Hi, a long shot but has anyone had the issue that the unit cannot connect to the internal GPS antenna? A quick bash on the back of the unit can solve it.. for a short period. The web site suggests that this might be a coimmon problem - suggesting a hardware fault, so am considering gettting in to the guts of the thing to search for missing connections - anyone got any experience of this?
