hi, I bought this TomTom unit last year and did all the updating etc when I bought it, however since then i have managed to lose the manual and cd
but...I have the USB cable for it, just posting here hoping that someone can give me a link with info on how to update it /link to the software/updates too

I want to put the low bridges POI on it and get the most up to date maps

any help appreciated

Download a new manual from the TT site:
http://www.tomtom.com/support/support.php?ID=3&Language=1

You need TomTom Home to download and install maps.

PoIs go in the map folder, so wait until you have the new map installed before you add the new PoI.

ok not quite sorted, the original card is 128mb , what is the max size of card i can buy so i can put different voices/poi's etc on ?
any SD card will do I assume ?

2GByte max. Normal "high speed" card. Not "normal" or "Ultra" speed.
Reputable brand such as Sandisk or Kingston.

Try a search for something like "2GB" or "SD cards" in just the TomTom forum, for lots more opinions!
