Seemed to have lost the computer voice off my tomtom go 910 and can't find it anywhere to download. Doesn't seem to be on the CD ROM I got with the device either.
Help............ Can't read certain things like email messages when I have my mobile connected |

Did you make a backup?
It's the first thing it says to do, in the manual (OK second, after not leaving it in the car for thieves).
If you didn't, it's now too late to rescue the voices that way, but it's still VITAL that you make one now anyway. If you 'lose' your maps too, there is no way to get them back without buying them again.
Assuming you're talking about the Text to Speech voices, they should have been in a folder called "Loquendo" on the 910's hard drive.
If they aren't there, all I can suggest is a call to TomTom customer services, and throw yourself on their mercy. As they are copyright and TomTom has to pay a license fee for them, the least you will have to do is provide them with proof of purchase. For the same reason, it is not allowed for us to copy them and share them, so don't ask here or you'll get jumped on for breaking forum rules.
Good luck, and DO THAT BACKUP!!!! |

And in the event that you don't have a 910 then they won't work anyway, they're locked to the 910 device. _________________ Darren Griffin |
