Hi
Got a ipaq Hp 5935 a few months ago as I have subscribed to pocket GPS for some time I was suprised to find that updating in fact installing the camera data onto tomtom 6 was very difficult. As I found the best download was the single zoned cameras about 30 in the folder. In order to install them on the IPAQ it was necessary to go into the windows active sync - explore click on my windows mobile based device -then open ipaq file store from the menu bar choose tools and folder options
choose the View tab and select show all hidden folders. Then in ipaq file store select IPAQ GPS folder and then open the map ie. Western Europe and pastE in your POI cameras. You then have to set each camera up individualy for warning sounds distance whatever you dont need to be linked to active sync for this. when you use this proceedure again to update it wont work until you go through the tom tom menu on the IPAQ AND CLICK ON MAIN MENU PAGE 3 EXIT APPLICATION THEN JUST PASTE IN CAMERAS AND SWITCH BACK ON. yOUR PREVIOUS SETTINGS REMAIN OPERATIONAL WARNINGS & DISTANCES. I SPENT SOME CONSIDERABLE TIME WORKING THIS OUT HOPE IT HELPS SOMEONE.

Thanks. Yes, on the 59xx the TomTom map folder is hidden by default which makes it pretty difficult to update POIs. Have you tried TomTom Home yet?
