|
|
I am running TT6 off my Ipaq HX4705 which has a 624Mhz Intel Xscal processor, 64MB of RAM, 128 MB of ROM and a VGA screen. I loaded the map on my Sandisk Ultra II SD card which is freshly formatted. I am only using the Canada & Alaska Map.
Tomtom 5 run very smooth on my PDA and the 3D map is fluid, however, TT6 is extremely slow and jerky for the 3D map. I've disabled all the POIs as well.
Do you guys have any tips on how to fix this issue? |

Not really. It is how it is. Go back to TTN5. _________________ Lutz

This is what I did eventually - rolled back to TTN5.
It is sad that I cannot use some of the handy features that TTN6 introduced (esp linking .ogg files to camera POIs), but the slow and jerky map scrolling was just too clunky for my liking - especially at roundabouts when it can become positively confusing. |

Do you guys have any tips on how to fix this issue? | Oops, just re-read your original post! If you are using only Canada & Alaska, whose camera POIs are you using. If you are using TT's own, then, if I understand correctly, they are no longer POIs in TT6, so that is why you are stuck with the fixed sounds. _________________ Jock
