Hi

I'm close to commiting to a new TTONE europe, as I'm having too many problems running TT5 on my iPaq, BUT...I needed an external antenna on the Sysonchip CF card GPS receiver I'm using, due to coated windscreen on my Peugeot. So is it possible to plug an external antenna into the new TT1? And if so what fitting does it have?

Cheers

Richard

You will probably find that the TT ONE works just fine in your Peugot. It's GPS chipset is far more sensitive than what you are presently using.

I too would be VERY surprised if you needed an external antenna.

Well got it this morning, popped out at lunchtime and started it up - and despite displaying the "poor GPS reception" message it acquired 7 satellites in under 2 minutes. I'll wait and see how well it does starting up whilst I'm moving, but seems ok for now.
