Copying SD card to SD card

I would like to copy everything on my SD card to a faster SD card of the same size (1 Gb). What is the easiest way to do this please? Can I use the SD Card slot on my computer or is it imperative that I use my TomTom1 to do so? Please make the instructions as simple as possible because I am a bit thick when it comes to these things. ..Bingalau..

Mikealder. Thanks for prompt reply and sorry for the delay in answering yours. But I was having my evening meal. I had already made a back-up as recommended by TomTom. I assume this is now somewhere on my computer. Can I now just put my new faster card in to the card reader slot and download the backup to it, as in your last paragraphs. I will start looking for it now... Ah yes! there's a TomTom folder there which must be it. Do I just Copy and Paste now? ..Bingalau..

Use TomTom Home to recreate the files on the new card, just put the card in the reader fire up TomTom Home and tell it to restore back-up then insert the card to the device and it should simply work, otherwise you do have to copy/ paste the files/ folder from your hard drive on the PC to the new memory card (if you want to do the Windows Explorer method) - Mike
