I'm generally really pleased with Route66 on my N80, however there is one thing that is really frustrating: if I get caught in road works or slow moving traffic I can't tell it to re-route me.

Apparently, if you use TMC (the traffic information download) it will re-route around jams, however I'm guessing (I have yet to try) that the traffic information is never going to be good enough to find up on a small jam on a back street.

I was wondering if anyone has managed to "hack" this facility, say by creating a fake TMC file (if it works via files) and place it in the correct location on the phone to force Route66 to re-calc the route?

Alternatively, does anyone know how TMC works in Route66?
