Hi all

I have TTN5 & a Navman Bluetooth GPS receiver (which I think is a 4410). I have previously had them running fine together on an Orange SPV M2000. (Pair the GPS receiver, set the COM port it's using and then pick up that COM port in TomTom and it all worked fine.)

However, I've now got an SPV M3100, and when I pair the GPS receiver, I don't seem to be able to assign it to a particular COM port, and none of the ones available in the TomTom GPS setup seem to work.

What's really annoying is that I've had it working once without knowing what the settings were and then mucked it up!

Can anybody help please?

Dave

Was trying to set up an incoming serial port rather than an outgoing one (which you can assign COM ports to).

Incoming sort of made more sense though....

Hi Dave, you've successfully configured Tom Tom on the M3100 then, any chance you could tell me how you did this, i've recently acquired a holox bt 321 and tt6 but cannot see to pair up the two successfully.

The gps reciever came with no instructions.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Have a read through This - the only thing that might be different is the actual com port used for your device (different hardware) - otherwise the guide should show you what is needed - Mike

Thanks Mike, I have been searching for days on this. I was missing the outgoing port setup. Thanks
