|

Hi everybody,
I have rx3115 and currently use TTN5 with the old maps.
As many other people, I've patiently waited for new maps only to find out that my device isn't on the compatibility list. Before I pay $50 + shipping for an upgrade that may or may not work, I was just wondering if somebody already tried rx3115 with TomTom Navigator 6?
Yes, I tried their tech. support, they said they won't guarantee anything, if it doesn't work, it's non-refumdable, etc.
Yes, I know I can download new maps for TTN5 - however, USA & Canada maps are around 100 EUR, and I could get a brand new navigation software package for that.
Please let me know if somebody already tried TTN6 with ipaq rx3100 series (or rx3700, for that matter - they're very similar), and if it worked. I've also heard about 'no maps found' issue with TTN6 on many iPAQs - do you know if rx31xx/37xx might also be affected?
Thank you! |

as the ipaq runs widows mobile it should work most of the problems in ipaqsseem to be where a cf and sd card are used at the same time _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .
Oh the joys of being a courier.

Thanks alix776 and silliw - this is reassuring
Yes, my rx3115 runs on Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, and from what I've read in this forum (very informative btw), it *should* work.
Hopefully you guys will be able to help me if I run into the SD card problem after purchasing the upgrade (since TomTom said they won't). My device has only one card slot though (SD), plus it has iPAQ File Store ROM but I think it's standard.
Thanks,
Dmitry. |

I run TT6 on an Ipaq rx3715 with no problems at all. I also use traffic with an Orange SPV 600 via bluetooth. |
