Hi again
not really a problem but i'm sure that i could "centre on cursor" when viewing the map on my Go 500.
i can do this on my ONE but i cannot seem to do it any more on my GO. all menu items are enabled by the way - am i remembering correctly?

cheers

When you are viewing the map, either in 'Browse Map' mode or viewing a route on the map, just press the cursor symbol on the bottom row and then select 'Centre on map'.

Which software version are you using?

I think that facility was last seen in 6.150

Don't know why they took it out as I always found it useful. Confused

Curious....
I'm running v6.52 on a Go 300 and I definately still DO have "Centre on Map".

From "Browse map" if I tap the blue cursor button at the bottom, I get:
Navigate there
Find POI nearby
Centre on map (rather than call)
Add as Favourite
Add as POI
Travel via

...so it seems to be different for the models with hands free?

I have noticed though that the zoom function seems more "intellegent" now though - it seems to try to zoom in "towards" the cursor position, keeping the cursor at the same position on the screen, rather than zooming to the screen center like it used to do.
