Sorry if this has been covered before but a search was fruitless.
The issue is, if I am running Tomtom 5.2 on my TMobile Vario and walking with it in my pocket listening to the instructions, it is unavoidable to unintentionally activate the menus of Tomtom. I cannot find a way to disable the touch sensitive screen to eliminate this problem within the application or Winbows Mobile 5. If I return to the "today" screen and lock the device no further instructions are heard from Tomtom. Is there something I am missing or is there a workround.
Thanks.

you can use the Media Player for that.

Run TomTom, start your navigation etc, then start Media Player (via a hardware key) and then toggle the screen (via another hardware key). This will disablke the screen but keep the navigation instructions running.

And just to keep it going Laughing

better still buy a DELL AXIM X51v which has a "mechanical sliding" switch which disables ALL buttons and Touch Screen functions - absolutely brilliant for this sort of use.
