need some help please. just downloaded most recent 14th feb release (24 file version) and understand some extra files have been added, but i seem to have 33 ov2 files now. is this right??
also
i still seem to only get boings at certain mobile sites and specs areas. all other cameras work with appropriate ogg voice files just fine. any ideas?? i seem to have appropriate ogg files for all the camera files??
thanks

right, just seen the details of latest download and 33 files is correct - so that sorted.
but....
any ideas about my 2nd point re: boings on specs and mobile sites instead of worded ogg warnings.
thanks. |

the 'some mobile sites' will be the pmobile ov2 files (unverified - 'p' for pending) as you will need a new ogg file to match the name.
re the specs, you need to make sure you have an ogg file with the same name as the specs ov2 and bmp files

Dont forget to delete the warnings for those cameras, and then reinstall the warning, and it should then pick up on the ogg file.. _________________ Neil.......ttgo..Mio p550...2.8 lwb exeed pajero. where cant I go.. |

Go through the Warn When Near routine again, for those Cameras that are giving the wrong warning.
If you are still asked to select a warning it means there is something wrong with the naming of that ogg File _________________ Richard

hi oldboy,
when i go into 'manage poi' menu, i select the specs camera,
next screen asks ' delete poi' - i answer no
then i set the yardage warning
then i set warn only if poi is on route
and thats it. it does not ask for a warning sound to be set?? |

Then it has picked up the ogg File.
Just remember that if you Tick for Only Warn When on Route, you won't get any warning at all while using it without Routing Instructions. _________________ Richard

For those of us without the correct ogg file for the new pending cams (me) where can I obtain one from?
For the rest of my speed cams I'm using the Liz voice, I'd prefer to use a new Liz ogg file if possible for the pending cams but if there isn't one of Liz I suppose any other human voice will do.
Thanks in advance.

Mullet wrote: | Pete. I have decided to use the single file from the consolidated set as I don't want to use an extra five POIs on my TTNv5.21
I modified an existing .ogg file based on Ray Flanagans Liz Whitaker files simply stating "warning unverified mobile camera ahead" to cover the whole category.
They are louder than the originals so you would need to install the full set.
Too tired to host and cross check right now so PM me your email if you want them. |
Done, thank you :D |
