Can't load a map

Hi all,
I have tomtom 5 on a Navman PiN 570. I can install several different maps but it just won't recognise the Deutschland map. I have read several posts but nothing I do seems to work. The map is in the root directory of the SD card ( 2GB ), as are the others. It was missing the cfg file so I renamed the Grest Britain one, as suggested. It still won't work. cfg file is not read only. Any ideas?

Generally, when you buy a map, it installs flawlessly without the need to copy files from other map directories. Perhaps an email to TomTom support is in order.
