Editing the Speed Camera POI files?

[Sorry, if this has already been answered - I have looked, honest!]

I wish to edit the POI files, to delete spurious alerts that are not needed on my usual commuting routes, before reloading the POI files into my Garmin Nuvi 660.

What would people recommend I use to see where the alerts are (on a visual map) and the delete the individual file enteries?

Is there a good, and relatively cheap, piece of PC mapping softare where I can load in the POI files to idenitfy the ones I want to delete?

Would this be an easy process?

Ok, apologies (typically noobie!)

I have found POIedit, plus loaded the Garmin produced files from the DB into MS Autoroute.

I think, what it has highlighted is not spurious or false entries, but that my Garmin Nuvi 660 unit (as posted about separately) is alerting me on general proximity, not for the specific road and direction I am on. I.e. what I thought were false, were probably other nearby cameras (it was in crowded central London) on adjacent roads.
