I have loaded version 9 maps on my Nuvi and have noticed that whilst I receive TMC info and the lines appear yellow on the motorway where there is congestion the little red triangle no longer appears. If I go into the settings and select ver 8 maps then view map the red triangle appears. If I go back and re-select ver 9 the yellow line still displays but the red triangle doesn't. Has anyone else noticed if the red traiangle still displays with ver 9 maps installed? |

I wonder if it's because you have added the v9 maps as additional maps on top of the v8 maps, instead of overwritting the original v8 maps with the newer v9 ones...?
Is there an option within the v9 DVD to overwrite the Nuvi, as opposed to just adding more maps on top? |

Swing
They are all called different file names - I can swap between version 8 and version 9 using the tick box on the map info screen in settings. I haven't tried to see what happens if I have both versions ticked |

Hmm, I know with the v7 to v8 US maps that although it was possible to do what you have done, it was also possible to completely overwrite the original v7 maps with the newer v8 maps. Have you tried looking on the DVD for a directory containing the full single country maps? |
