Globalsat BT 338 + Palm TX + Tomtom Navigator 5 compatible?

I have a Palm TX and have just bought Tomtom Nav 5 software ( I didn't buy version 6 as there seemd to be some doubt about its compatibility with Palm TX)
Now all I need is the right GPS receiver. I'm considering Globalsat Bt-338 but I wondered if anyone else has the same combination of devices and software and can confirm that it all works together?

Alternatively can someone recommend a receiver ( preferably Sirf III chip) that they know works with Palm TX and Tomtom Nav 5?

Any BT GPS receiver will work. The 338 is still the benchmark SiRF III receiver but nowadays you can get longer battery life from smaller receivers. Your call.
