Max distance for a POI category ??

D/loaded Sommerfield supermarkets to add to the points off interest categories on my PDA, just wonder why when scrolling thru them individually it only shows the ones at a max distance off around 40 miles ??

is there a setting with TOMTOM 5 possibly ?? would have said that this is all the actual file contains but for one it seems strange that they are all within 40 miles off my home location and secondly remember a fried saying the same thing about Hotel categories he had recently d/loaded ie all were within a max distance off 40 miles ??

not actually had the gps systmn on outwith this 40 mile limit to test to see if any other somerfield POI`s actually show up or not.

anyone advise ??

It is not distance related, the number of POI's found is limited to 100 - it just so happens there must be 100 stores within 40 miles, try petrol stations and you should find the furthest distance away considerably less - Mike
