Can Tomtom software work with Navman 3400 Sleeve and Compaq

Hi all, I have recently bought an Compaq Ipaq H3760 ppc (not bluetooth)and got a Navman 3400 Sleeve (no external ariel socket) to use as satnav ! The SamrtST software i got with the Navman Sleeve works ok but its a bit out of date ! So i was wondering if its possible to get TomTom software to work with a Compaq Ipaq H3760 using a Navman 3400 sleeve ? I installed Tomtom Navigator 5 on to the ppc and it ran fine but the Navman Sleeve would not pick up any sattelites and the only set up option was for a (NMEA wired gps) and then a (Navman GPS). I used these settings but i have had no luck getting this to work ! Are there any other versions of Tomtom software that will work with the above setup ? Any help greatly received.

TomTom 5 should work, TomTom 6 would struggle as the 3760 isn't up to the job.

However the Navman sleeve was a poor GPS even when new and is so insensitive that you may not be very impressed with the results!

IIRC it runs on COM6 at 57600bps. Early versions of TomTom also needed a driver to talk to the Navman sleeve. I can't be certain if that is the case with v5 but I have the driver here and it won't harm to install it.
