Checkpoint not starting TomTom

After having a working system (nearly, I couldn't run demos) I have removed and reloaded both TT2 & Checkpoint from my Axim. Now when I start Checkpoint I get the message 'You need to load a map from the TomTom ......'

I click on OK and then start TT. Everything works OK. It's just a pain having to remember to start CP before I start TT

Any ideas abount what I can try?

PS I've deleted CP load of times and reloaded. Makes no difference

Well, I've deleted & restored TT & CP about 15 times, and now it works.

That message sounds remarkably like that from the (IMHO ill-conceived) TomTom Wizard that's distributed with GPS 2.09.

It can be removed separately by selecting "TomTom Wizard" in Remove Programs (Start Menu -> Settings, System tab, Remove Programs). That should get rid of the issue. Personally, I recommend not installing it to start with - see this thread for details.
