I have had a search but am not sure what I am looking for quite! I was just wondering how good the sound was when using a PDA for GPS interface, as the speaker in my XDA 2 is not up to much and probably would not be suitable for broadcasting directions to me. There is no carkit available for this modle yet (apart from the one for the older model which is not ideal) so would I be stuck with the internal speaker of the PDA?

Many thanks,

J

Whilst I'm waiting for the new Seido mount for my 5450, I'm using battery powered active PC speakers. Ugly but very effective. With mine the battery arrangment means I've got to use both speakers together, but you may find some that you can use individually. I've seen them as low as £St4.50 in the UK

Try Creative TravelSound speakers. They are a single piece stereo speaker system and are battery powered and are small and compact. £43.48 inc VAT from www.scan.co.uk part no. 4286.
Expensive but great sound quality.
