Transfering TomTom software/maps

I've had TT (3 and then upgrade to 5) on my aging iPaq2210 for a while now and I'm upgrading to a flashy new Vodaphone v1605 (aka HTC TyTN).

a) How do I transfer my software onto the new machine? Presumably the same way I installed it on my iPaq however,

b) Can you have it installed on two machines at once?

c) If I sell my iPaq and hardware on eBay will it work on both units or does the registration on the new machine mean the satellites stop recognising the old one?

You can transfer your license to a new device after seven days, and again to a subsequent device six months after that.
It is not possible to have the software active on two seperate devices at the same time, so your thoughts of selling the device on are not within the EULA agreement unless you remove the TTN software first - Mike

Another question (think I might know the answer)

I still have all the TT3 wired hardware and software. When I upgraded to TT5 did this all become defunct?

i.e. can I sell my iPaq with the full TT3 wired package? Well, obviously I can sell it, but will it work?

If it was an upgrade then you loose the activation of the TTN3 when this option was taken, if you purchased both software packages outright then you can use the different versions on different devices - Mike
