Latest speed camera dowen load / nuvi 310 update

Hi guys (and girls)

Have been using the camera database by downloading from the site as i have some probs with Ash's camera manager at the moment

Downloaded them the other day then POIloaded them up but the images didnt show, i just got '70mph speed limit ahead' or '30mph speed limit ahead'

downloaded them again from the site and the image files where in the zip file this time so they showed up....BUT....i dont get the old messages i had on the older camera file from October like 'Gatso xxxxx#30'

I have also updated my Nuvi to the latest Garmin update 'multiple October 23, 2006 ' from the website

Could this update have changed the way the cameras are displayed on the Nuvi??, also they dont always warn me when i'm approaching them??

I have also noticed that the odd camera location seems to go unreported.

I have the Nuvi 310D running latest software (3.2) with the Nuvi zoned speed files all loaded using the latest Garmin POIloader.

Most camera locations seem to give an audible warning with the status at the top of the Nuvi screen turning red displaying the speed limit and the appropriate icon appears on the screen. However some locations go unreported??

I do not get an audible warning, the top status line does not change however the camera icon IS displayed!! I'm not sure if this is due to the latest Nuvi 310 firmware as I have only owned the unit for a short period and have always run it with the latest firmware.

Until now I haven't seen any other posts relating to this, so I thought it must be my imagination, or maybe I had done something wrong. Any advice would be appreciated.

i think i may have some anwsers to my own questions!

I updated my nuvi again to 3.3 i think now

Installed Ash's camera manager which i now have working, that downloaded updates to the files i had already downloaded from the site

I then uploaded them again and having used it today to drive to Norwich it seemed to work ok


will check this when i get home but arent the mobile cameras supposed to be on tripods and red light cams traffic lights??. mine seem to be the same
