| Could someone who owns a C710 please tell me if maps for the Canary Islands are included in the Spain maps. I'm thinking of getting this unit and, through reading this forum and others, I think the cons outweigh the pros, mostly thanks to people on here who have found ways round some of the problems. Thanks in advance. |

| If it uses Navteq maps (Navigon) then the answer is yes. But they show fewer of the roads than the local car hire companies' free paper maps! |

| Thanks for the reply pharmamike. As far as I can remember it's Teleatlas maps that are used with igo software. |

Well I'm not sure if 33509 is the post code but I managed to find an address by putting in 33509 in the Spain map and I got a route from London to it. 
I also found lanazarote in the Spain map so I would say yes it does cover the Canary Islands but in the C710 it shows up as Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Both are off the coast of Spain.
Hope this helps but I was never any good at geography which is why I'm lucky to have a Mio C710 8O

The Canary Islands are there on the Spain maps with the islands roads roads and also ferry routes between them.
In fact I just did a route calculation from UK to La Gomera and it took me me down to Cadiz and an 804 mile ferry trip to Santa Cruz de Tenerife that the Mio reckons will take 51 hours to get there ! |
