I think I'll be buying one of these. Its a good upgrade from a smartphone and the Treo big screen will be nice.

How does TT 5 run? Does it look good on the bigger screen? Is the screen touch sensitive etc?

I'll be keeping the original TT bluetooth receiver I bought to use with an SPV and I assume it will work OK with that?

ANd one last question - will the treo and TTN5 work ok with the pocketgpsworld camera database??

Many thanks.......how great is this forum for communicating experiences etc.

Bob

Runs fine on my Treo 650 - though my internal memory capacity is a challenge, and sometimes there's not enough for Nav 5 to run. I run a Palm app. - 'mem info' - to avoid having to soft reset to make more memory available.
The screen is touch sensitive, so you can modify prefs at the touch of a fingertip.
Can't say if your Bluetooth receiver will be compatible; I have TT's Mk II Bluetooth receiver which works perfectly.

At to whether the screen is better bigger, I can't imagine a smaller one! But it's just fine (though I'm sure the PND's are much better).

The combination of a Phone, Palm PDA and GPS in such a neat package far outway the other possible benefits of a PND (at least for me).

Good luck!

Ooops, and yes, Treo 650 + Nav 5 + PGPS Speed Camera Database works fine.
