warning sounds

A bit new to this,
I've got the database installed and it seems to work as i can see cameras on advance route planning. :D

How do I change the warning sound, can I record something to warn of a camera or do I have to use stock sounds already on my device. (i want something to remind me to change lanes approaching a spec camera)

Nearly forgot I'm using MDA PRO (does anyone else have problems answering phone whilst tom tom is running)

Lastly how often is database updated, do you send out an email?

Welcome to the forum, have a look at THIS Thread, it details probably the easiest way to setup custom warnings on your device. If you want to record your own find an audio recorder package that can save in the OGG file format and save with a sample frequency of 22050Hz
To start with I would simply install some pre-recorded voice warnings and give them a try - Mike
