Hello,

Has anybody got the Garmin i3 and microsoft autoroute to talk together? i have installed the driver software which adds a garmin device to the system but autoroute complains (see below picture)

As far as I am aware, you can't connect any satnav systems to autoroute, what you need to connect is just the gps receiver.

I've got an old Garmin GPS 12 XL that talks quite happily to Autoroute (2006), so Autoroute can obviously deal with more than just a receiver. I don't use it very often, but if I recall I have to go through a specific sequence for it all to work.

It also helps if you can turn off any other applications that may be looking at the communication ports, as I found that other applications polling the ports fooled Autoroute into thinking nothing was connected.

Tried quite a few times with no success Sad, is their any software for the i3 what doing route stuff like autoroute?
