But as we’re losing ad-revenue from this then why not make a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!

I have only navigated to a contact on my Treo 650 a few times, but I have run into a strange situation in about half the cases. First, let me say I use an alternate contact program (KeySuite), so I have to manually keep the native Palm "contact" database populated by synching to it now and then. TT only works with the native contacts--not add-ons. When I choose "contact" from the "navigate to" menu, I pick the name and often TT will say it can't resolve the address. It asks if I want to do this manually. It then proceeds to pop up city, state, street and number which I have to verify (or change, I guess--they were always correct). Once you verify this stuff, it will create a route there. My question is why it does this, since it seems to already have the correct location data?

Because the address in your contacts is in a format that TT can't resolve.
Example as with mine if I have,
Street Address
Park Gate
Southampton
Post Code
It fails even though that is the correct address according to the post office.
If i use,
Street Address
Park Gate
Post Code
or
Street Address
Southampton
Post Code
they work fine. _________________ Graham.
