The N20 is useless!!

So I decided the Costco offer was too good to miss especially as they were doing the N20 instead of the 530 for the same price (£120+vat).
Well the unit looks great and the PC interface also. The mapping superb. Speed camera database already loaded by Navman but the warning noise a useless ding dong. It was easy to load the GPS world database and even easier to load my own custom-made voice files!
So why is the unit useless?
Because I just can't hear the bloody thing!
So with all the criticisms of the last models Navman have made no improvement to sound volume/quality.
The unit will be returned to Costco shortly.

So I will persevere with my old Medion 95000, which apart from 2004 mapping is still a damn good unit!

I have to agree, my old zx spectrum had a better quality speaker.

I do like the n20 though !
As you say the mapping is great and I think its good value for £140.
