i have downloaded the data base for my navman but unable to open files says they are unknow help

Welcome!

You probably haven't unzipped the archive file. Does it have a ".zip" extension? (Right click / Extract All, if using Windows XP; Free Winzip prog. if not).
There are instructions/faqs for most systems, links are on the left in red.
If this isn't the answer, post again with more details.

thanks for the repply my sat nav is model 750 iam still unable to open the files on smartst desktop 2006 says unknow file format

The download should be an archive file called "pgpsw-speed-cams.zip" - do you get that?

If you do, when you right click on it in Windows Explorer, do you get an option to "Extract All"?

If you do, then do it....

You should now get a bunch of files that are compatible with your unit (.asc and .bmp files).
Now try following the instructions HERE

If this doesn't work, post again saying at what exact step it fails. Hopefully someone with better knowledge of Smartst than I, will come to your aid.
