|
|
Hi All,
I was just wondering if anybody knows for sure how many times you can get an activation code from TomTom for Navigator 5. I have entered my details on the ttcode website and it doesn't seem to want to give me an activation code as it has already been used 3 times. Now I can only ever remember using it twice (once in my PDA and once in my mobile) which is actually the strange bit.
Does anybody know a way around this? I have changed mobiles recently and want to take my old MMC c/w TT software and put it in my new phone. I have sent TT an e-mail to ask them about it but they appear to be a bit slow in responding.
Thanks in advance for any help. |

You have to wait 6 months between the second and third Activations.
You can contact TT direct if you can prove that there is a genuine reason. _________________ Richard

I did this with my TT5 as the Dell Axim I was using broke, I replaced it with an Ipaq 2210 but it wouldn't activate. I emailed TT and told them the Axim had broken ( I gave then the unit ID) and asked them to remove it from the list, they did it no problem. |

I bought TTN6, which is a completely new product but on going to 'Change my device' on the TomTom home page I was told I couldn't because I had to wait 6 months. I didn't bother. |

Just email or fax proof of purchase they will change device codes or send you a new code, fax is the quickest way 3 hour for reply email can take up to 4/5 days as they don’t always read the full email and ask for information already in email. |
