TT6 on a TT3 (Palm)

I'm currently using MapSonic on a Palm Tungsten T3 and am looking to upgrade to something a little less pants. Will TT6 run on a Palm TT3? It's not on the "supported" list but I wondered if anyone has successfully tried.

TT6 runs just fine on a T3.

Refresh is a bit jerky (on TT5 you could smooth it out by disabling POIs but this option no longer exists in TT6), but other than that it works without problems.
