Mike if you mean the ogg file method of speed camera warnings then it should work as users have confirmed it to work on the following versions TTN 5,0 5,1 and 5,21 - unless you mean something else by "Inteligent speed camera sounds" - Mike |

I downloaded the new POI sounds detailed on the site after checking the s/w version 5.0 (4890), duly renamed the original DATACHK file as instructed, whacked the new file into the folder, renamed that, then allocated the names as per the list displayed. When I hit the test button, I still have the original sounds. Obviously doing something wrong! |

Mike the data.chk method will work fine with your system, did you soft reset the PDA since changing the data.chk file?
I wouldn't bother with the data.chk method these days it is much easier to use the ogg file format (and you can have more warnings) have a read HERE follow the links in Lutz first post in the thread to Rays site for the files you need, or trawl through the thread and on the last couple of pages are some other downloadable voice files from members of this site (these will have been re-named for you, unlike the ones from Rays site which will require renaming to be used) - Mike |

I had not put the datachk file in the correct place, will do so now, and then I will examine the ogg file scenario.
Thanks to everyone for their advices! |
