streetpilot 2720 error please help.

I just updated to 7.0 map but it had frozen one time while updating. Finished the update but now my Detailed Maps are empty and I cannot enter an address or browse for area's. I have NO idea how to uninstall and start from scratch or how to REload a map onto the system. Any help is greatly appreciated as I have a road trip coming up tomorrow...

It sounds like the maps are corrupt . On the 2720 you dont delete the maps you overwrite them so do the download again .

You said that it froze last time did you do anything to get it going again ..

And when I updated to V9 recently it took 1.75 hours to download all of europe so be patient

If it doesnt work contact Garmin support ,unlike TomTom they do have support and its pretty good as well . The last time I had trouble within 15 minutes of chatting to them I had 2 emails and a patch to sort it out.
