Hi Guys

Hope someone can help out here.
I travel the A77 extensively and have noticed that the speed limit on the camera's there on certain stretches have been listed at 70 in the database, but the limit is 50 on certain stretches of road.

Is there a simple way to edit the speed limit for the camera's that are already listed ?

TIA Very Happy

First of all it would help if you submitted the changes so we can all benefit but i guess you've already done that.

Secondly as to whether you can edit the files yourself depends on exactly which database you use and for which unit?

Use the speed Camera database Icon top left of the home page.

follow the information/instuction on that page to update cam info/position(s)

Hiya and thanks for the response

Have tried to update the database with the relevant speed limit, but when I click on the update nothing seems to happen.

At present I'm using the most current database from this site and TomTom navigator 6 on a IPAQ 2190.

Will try again tomorrow to update.

Many thanks for all of your useful hints

Smile

how exactly are you trying to do this? after filling out the form and pressing submit you should get confirmation screen. the data then gets sent to the database system which we then process - it doesn't update it instantly!

Hi and thanks for replying.

Never got as far as the confirmation screen, when I pressed the submit, nothing appears to have happened.

Will try again tonight and see if I get any further on

Thanks

mossgiel, did you ever manage to get these submitted? we've not had any submissions from you...

if all else fails you can email me changes... not sure why you're having problems with the submission form though...

Did you Tick the Confirm correct Country Option?

Just left of the Send Entry button.

Hi Richard

Thanks for the help, I'm sure that box was checked too.

I downloaded the database from the webisite again, last week, and lo and behold the location is showing the correct speed.
Guess I must have been using an old database, or hadn't installed it correctly Crying or Very sad

Anyways it's working fine now Very Happy

Thanks once again for all your useful hints, as always much appreciated
