I just purchased a TT G0710. I think it is great and so am constantly plying with it. I csn't seem to just delete a destination so it is not trying to navigate me to somewhere. I do not want to turn it off as I am using it as a hands free phone option as well.  |

| I'm not sure I fully understand your question but if you are saying that you want to cancel the route you have selected then you can press the screen and on the second screen (i think) select 'clear route'. |

You might need to Show all Menu Items in Change Preferences, if you can't find Clear Route.

What genius at TomTom thought that omitting 'clear route' from the short menus was a good idea? the same guy responsible for issuing new map updates I suppose. |

Probably the same one who left out Navigate to co-ordinates in TT5.
Perhaps he's left now that they've brought it back again.;)
