Garmin c510

It seems that I am not alone regarding having difficulty in loading POI' for speed cameras. Not only that but, having sent at least 4 requests to Garmin for assistance since registering 3 weeks ago the response has been nil. All I need is an idiot's guide with the hope that after going though a process I am not informed of an error. Please help me somebody

I take it you are using Garmin's POI Loader from their website? http://www.garmin.com/products/poiloader/

Get all the POI files you want in to one Folder on your PC, connect the C510, run the POI LOader and point it at the PC Folder where you have the files, wait a short while - et voila. Well it certainly works on my C510D.

Note that if you update the speed cams for example, you should copy the new speed cam file(s) to the Folder (overwriting/deleting the old ones) so that any other POIs you have chosen to have are re-loaded along with the new speed cams.

Many thanks Hugh. As it happens I did have one last desperate attempt and it worked. Trial run today shows me that I have cams loaded. When you have 9 points you start to get desperate
