HOW DO I UPDATE MY MAP?

Hi all!! I have a TOMTOM 500 and those of you who use Heathrow will know that the road layout at the Hatton Cross end has been permanently altered. The map loaded does not recognise some of the new roads that are now 'the way'. Help please!!! Jan xx

First of all,

To answer your question, you can not update your map manually. All you can do is report the map error to both TomTom and Teleatlas.

This way, hopefully the map will be updated the next time a release comes out (which you will have to pay for).

Be aware that if it is a new report (by that I mean you are the first to report it), it could be up to 2 years before it is put into mapping software like TomTom.
