Do Ronseal Make A GPS????

Just a thought, but if Ronseal made a gps WOULD IT DO EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN???

I must have spent hundreds of pounds so far and countless hours roaming the forums trying to find a system that will do what it says it should do. Is it me, or did things used to work properly 20 years ago ?

It is by no means unique to GPS systems but in general things no longer seem to work spot on as they should, everything seems to need "tweaking or upgrading or bios flashing". 20 years ago i got a table top space invader machine, and guess what?? IT NEVER CRASHED!
I found it a couple of days ago in the attic and plugged it in for a giggle, sod me if it didnt fire up straight away and work perfectly!!!!!

Perhaps we just expect things to do more complicated things nowadays and still expect it to work, but i for one am getting fed up with spending hard earned on phones, computers, GPS systems etc and having to ask for help on how to fix them. Im sure that if someone invented a GPS system that had up to date maps, gave correct directions every time, held on to a satellite signal had a pleasant voice and could navigate from one set of POSTCODES to another, all other GPS systems would be on the scrap heap and MR Ronseal would be a very wealthy man!!

Having said all that, if life with a GPS was perfect then we would have no need for an excellent forum like this.
