|
|
Seems like when I find a likely candidate for a Palm OS compatible GPS receiver, it turns out to be only Pocket PC. I really like the specs of the Globalsat SD-502, but alas, no Palm OS.
I would prefer an "onboard" SDIO or MMC device rather than Bluetooth, but that's not a "must." The new SiRF III chipset is what I'm looking for, so I can turn my Palm PDA into a color GPS with better reception than my Garmin Etrex Legend.
I'm not adverse to hacking, either. If the SD-502 or other unit will work with a Palm, but isn't officially supported, I don't mind a bit of coding and/or soldering to make it work...
Thanks for any suggestions.

Get a Bluetooth receiver. They are all compatible with Palm. _________________ Lutz

Thanks, Lutz.
So, I guess my next question (not just for Lutz) is:
Are there any SiRF III Bluetooth GPS receivers with a helical antenna? |
